About Us
The UKBC Committee

We are a group of boerboel enthusiasts, some breeders and some owners, who collectively have more than 70 years of experience with the boerboel breed.

Originally from from Bloemfontein, South Africa, Dolph has known and loved boerboels all of his life.

Dolph is the European Board Member and Senior Appraiser for the SABT, the largest worldwide boerboel registry.

Tracy is a well respected Senior Appraiser for the SABT.  She has travelled extensively throughout Europe and South Africa appraising and judging dogs.

Tracy was 'bitten' by the boerboel bug in 2002 when, she bought her first boerboel pup.  Tracy has been club treasurer since 2005

Elaine is a founder member of the UKBC, having joined the committee in 2003.

Elaine takes care of the website and leads the organisation of the annual SABT appraisal where she is usually found stressing out somewhere in the background!

Lynn got her first boerboel whilst living with her husband John in South Africa.

On returning to the UK she was surprised to find boerboels had made it over here and got her boy Oscar.  Lynn looks after the club admin.

Jan got her first boerboel in 2003, a yellow male named Yogi.  Since then she has collected quite a few boerboels, all of them house dogs.

Jan has owned guardian breed dogs for over 30 years  and used to breed Dobes.  She loves training her dogs all of whom have various CGC's.  She is currently busy with Working Trials, Gun dog and Rally.

Lynn has been involved with Boerboels for many years.  She has bred a couple of litters and at most has kept six adult Boerboels together  2 females and 4 males all of which have run together as a pack.

She lives with her family in Scotland.

Although Philippa has grown up with large breeds, she only bought her first Boerboel in 2009.   She now has three due to her love for this breed.

Philippa joined the committee in 2012 and is a very proactive member - not afraid to get her hands dirty!
